It all begins with an idea.

This is a working farm and garden area.  There will be times when you may hear kids, dogs, us or the chickens.  Be mindful that we will still be working the farm and event.  The back garden area is usually very quiet and we will make sure to keep noise to a minimum, but there may be some.

Outdoor food and garden events attract bugs.  This is something that we will not be able to get around.  The food will likely attract flies, gnats and bees.  We have our yard sprayed for mosquitoes, however we do not have them spray in the actual garden.  I will have citronella and other mosquito repellent candles and things.  I also will have bug spray available if you need any.  Natural repellant is available for purchase.  If you are particular on the repellant you want, bring your own.  That being said, fall time is truly prime time. Booking in the fall decreases your chances of dealing with nature’s bugs and offers comfortable temperatures in the greenhouse if you want more seclusion.

At the moment, you are free to use our main level bathroom in our home. We are working on outdoor bathroom rentals. We will make sure guest have access and know where that is.
